Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 September 2026
This policy explains what happens to information when you use docvexa.fun. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past, so it is deliberately specific about the one thing most visitors care about: your documents.
1. Your files are not uploaded
Every tool on this site performs its work inside your browser using JavaScript, the File API and the HTML canvas. The file you select is read into the memory of the page you have open. It is not transmitted to us, we have no server that receives documents, and no copy is written to any storage we control. When you close or reload the tab, the file and any generated result are discarded by the browser. The same applies to text you type or paste into a tool: it stays in the page.
2. Information we do collect
We collect no account information, because there are no accounts. The limited data that does arise is:
- Server access logs. Our hosting provider records standard request information such as the IP address, the page requested, the time, the referring page and the browser user agent. These logs are used to keep the site available and to investigate abuse or errors, and are retained for a short operational period.
- Aggregate usage measurement. If a privacy-respecting analytics script is in use, it records page views and referrers in aggregate. It does not receive the contents of your files.
- Messages you choose to send. If you email us or use the contact form, we receive the details you put in the message and keep them only as long as needed to answer you.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
The tools themselves do not require cookies. Your browser may store a small preference locally, such as a remembered filter, and that value never leaves your device. Advertising partners may set their own cookies; this is covered in the next section and in the Cookie Policy.
4. Advertising and third parties
This site is funded by advertising. Advertising networks and their partners may place cookies, device identifiers or similar technologies in order to measure impressions, limit how often you see the same advert, detect fraudulent clicks and, where permitted, show advertising based on inferred interests. That processing is carried out by those networks under their own privacy policies, and they may receive your IP address, approximate location, the page you were viewing and technical details about your device. They do not receive any part of the documents you process here, because we never have them.
Where the law requires consent for personalised advertising, a consent notice is presented and your choice is passed to the advertising partners. You can also limit personalisation in your browser settings, or through the opt-out pages operated by industry bodies such as the Network Advertising Initiative, the Digital Advertising Alliance and Your Online Choices.
5. Third-party code
The PDF tools rely on two open-source libraries, pdf-lib and PDF.js, which are hosted on this site rather than on an external network, so using a tool does not create a request to any third-party domain. Advertising scripts are the only third-party code loaded, and they receive no document data.
6. Children
The site is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to request a copy, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent for personalised advertising. Because we hold so little, most requests are answered quickly. Write to support@docvexa.fun and we will respond within the period required by the applicable law. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS and is deliberately built without a database of user content, which removes the largest category of risk. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please continue to use judgement when handling sensitive documents on any device.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes will be summarised in the first paragraph for a period after publication.
10. Contact
Questions about this policy can be sent to support@docvexa.fun.
